Introducing 5 Axis CNC Machining

With 5 axis CNC machining, we are able to move a part or a tool on five different axes simultaneously. Whilst 3 axis machining centre can move a part in two directions, with the tool moving up and down, 5 axis machining centres can rotate on two additional rotary axes, allowing the cutting tool approach the part from all directions. In turn, you can easily carry out operations such as routing, drilling, tapping, thread milling, notching, and sawing.

This equipment is especially designed for the machining of aluminium and thin-walled steel profiles in a way that is affordable and efficient. With the aim for high productivity, magazines ensure tool changes are quick, with the ability to hold 13 standard tools, and 7 special tools. It makes use of automatic clamp positioning, and the two working zones make shuttle operation possible. It is capable of processing up to 15 metres in length, putting it head and shoulders above most models, which aren’t able to machine this length.

5 axis machining connects through serial and USB ports, through a Windows operating system, as well as using a network connection. It’s possible to process materials of various lengths, time after time delivering the best results for every kind of machining task.
